Meditative Tools to Remember

1.  Meditate first before you start your day.  Your mind is more clear first thing, and beginning your day meditating on the sound and light sets a peaceful tone to your day.

2.  Set the clock for 30 minutes to an hour early for meditation.  Setting aside more time will keep you from feeling rushed.  It may be difficult at first but in time you will really enjoy your extra meditation and contemplation time.

3.  Gradually reduce meats and heavy foods from your diet.  "When the body is clean God reveals."  Feeling less heavy and loaded it will make it easier to concentrate.

4.  Try not to eat two hours before meditating.  It will be easier to concentrate on the upper centers in the body if you have an empty stomach.  However, if you have already eaten and you want to meditate,  go ahead and meditate.

5.  If you can, meditate in the same place and time each day.  Soon when you enter the room at that time your subconscious will be automatically prepared for a good meditative experience, and it will take you less time to go within deeply.

6.  Chant the mantra A-U-M often even when walking or doing various activities.  While doing so, remind yourself that you are attuning yourself to the vibration of the eternal light and sound.

7.  Listen to The Highest Form of Mediation downloadable CD often to remind yourself how the process works.  Also, listen to or watch any uplifting material as often as possible.  It always helps to keep the mind on the positive.  It also improves the meditative experience.

8.  Stay tuned for more meditative suggestions and approaches to life.

9. Try to meditate 3 times a day for at least 10 minutes.
